The war on drugs is the defining civil rights issue of our time and we must be the generation who says “not on our watch”. Racial profiling, over-policing, mass incarceration, voting disenfranchisement, homelessness, crime associated with black market sales, lack of access to healthcare and education, economic inequality, and the enforcement of racial hierarchy are all symptoms of the war on drugs. Being a student activist, Board member, staff member, and now an alumnus of SSDP has given me a global platform from which to work to contribute to dismantling these war on drugs catastrophes. Please support the work SSDP does to empower young activists across the globe by giving them a gift today! SSDP is a non-profit organization and your gift to us is tax deductible. Stay Sensible!
