Washington DC to reform our nation’s misguided drug and marijuana laws, first as Associate Director of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) and then back to SSDP as Executive Director. To say this organization has shaped my career is an understatement. I’m proud to have helped build SSDP into the largest student organization in the United States and I proudly continue to support their network as it incubates the next generation of drug policy reformers and industry pioneers. I ask you to do the same.

I’m very proud that my company 4Front could support SSDP this year to the tune of a $25,000 matching grant.  For all of my cannabis industry colleagues, I hope you will join us in making a financial commitment to this important organization. None of our businesses would be around today were it not for the decades of hard work by the young activists coming out of SSDP. We need a strong student movement to serve as the ground game for cannabis policy reform, and a funnel for motivated well trained talent for the cannabis industry. I’m hopeful that other companies will join us in our support of SSDP.
