Donate to the SSDP2017 DARE Scholarship Fund
Deadline: January 31 at 11:59pm EST
Since its founding in March 2011, Students for Sensible Drug Policy’s Diversity Awareness Reflection and Education (DARE) Committee has taken on the challenges of strengthening diversity in all its forms within SSDP. DARE does this by creating a welcoming, open, & safe space for all stakeholders.
We are fundraising during the month of January to collect contributions for our DARE Scholarship Fund to help students attend SSDP2017, our next international conference in Portland, Oregon. Our goal is $2,500, which would help approximately 8 outstanding students get to the conference.
SSDP uses drug policy reform and education as a vehicle to help young people understand the political process and the most relevant social justice issues in our world today. With over 4,000 members and 300 chapters all over the world, this is one of the most worthwhile investments in the future that you can make.

Check out this student testimony from SSDP2016:
“I think that it is worth noting the amazing and brilliant atmosphere that the SSDP team helped to create. Everyone that I have talked to is still buzzing with energy. This was life changing for many people and I can’t wait to see the ripple effects of the aftermath as they go out and turn into some very real change. Personally, SSDP has deeply and fundamentally changed my life. This conference reminded me of exactly how powerful this unique organization is in that regard. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”
Please donate by 1/31/2017 to help students attend the Students for Sensible Drug Policy conference, and invest in the future of the drug policy reform movement.
